Writing this blog is a kind of tedious task. It is nothing that I am not interested but the fact is I do not know how I should begin and what I should write first. Actually, I really want to share the sweet and unforgettable experience I and my family had in Kerala. The resplendent beauty of the state encompassed with wide varieties of natural resources always makes me speechless. For readers, it is really an easy and effortless task to enchant the beauty literally. But for a writer, it is really a cumbersome work. If someone asks me to explain the meticulous beauty of the lush green state in mere words without any doubt I would fantastic and fabulous. Annually the stupendous nature welcomes around hundreds of hundred tourists from various country. To avoid all kinds of constraints and stress most of the travellers like to buy the tour packages at cheap prices from an authorized travel agency. The alluring beauty and generous people of Kerala propelled us to extend our holidays but to other factors, with a broken heart we were forced to bid adieu to ‘god’s own country’. How could I forget to explain the sincere support and guidance provided to us by the well-renowned tour operator called Gogeo Holidays? More than the nature walk and shopping me and my cousins were deeply immersed in exploring the magnificent beauty of emerald surroundings by indulging in adventurous activities. To know more about it just narrow down the following paragraphs.
I mainly practised 4 major enthralling events namely canoeing and kayaking, trekking, wild safari, and bird watching. You might be thinking that the latter two events would be comparatively easy than others. But trust me those events was really tough for me and my family. Strolling through the midst of the forest, richly populated with tall trees is really a challenging task. When you once stepped into Kerala for a moment you will be totally confused whether it is really Kerala or Thailand because the edges of pavements in the state are bordered with pal,-fringed coconut trees. As the state is blessed with the moderate climate we were able to traverse through the unexplored lanes as much as we can. When strolling the through the forest we encountered many rare and unseen species of flora and fauna. To make our exploration more comfortable and intriguing we hired a 4 X 4 jeep. It was our luck that our driver was a Tamilan as we were hailing from Chennai. In fact, it was like applying icing on the cake. Along with we tried to capture the amusing images of many unknown birds including the migratory birds seen in various corners of the forest. I exactly do not remember the names of the forest but it was situated in the unexplored areas of Kannur and Wayanad. But these districts seem to carry many astounding wonders of nature. How I could conclude my jungle exploration without mentioning the stunning charm of the cascading waterfalls. Words are insufficient to express the stupendous beauty of the waterfalls in mere words.
If you ask me when and how the level of my self-confidence was increased without any doubt I could say it was when practising trekking on the breathtaking mountains. The mountains of Kannur and Wayanad were decorated with grasses up to knee-length and hence made our intriguing exploration tedious. But still, we did not lose our hope and with full confidence, we ascended to the summit of the mountain. I could not explain the view or the sight that we witnessed from the top of the mountain. It would be really a big loss for the people who fail to carry a binocular and a high-resolution camera with them. On reaching the top of the mountain it was really hard for us to decide what should be done first whether to enjoy eh fascinating charm of nature or to set a tent and get ready for the overnight games. When purchasing the tour packages of our family we had already mentioned our interest f overnight stay and campfire. As soon as the sunset we set up a tent and got ready to welcome the moon and stars, the source of light during the evenings. Even though there were only a few stars on the sky their illumination was enough to guide all kinds of minute creatures on the land. As everybody wanted to receive the first rays of sun rays we tried our best not to fall into a deep sleep. But at times unknowingly we immersed in deep sleep but the nocturnal birds and animals with their murmuring helped us to remain to awaken until the sun rises from the east.
Early morning along with the humming of birds our great source of light rose from the eastern side. Most of the plants bloom the moment the rays of the sun fall on them. The whole emerald surrounding across our tent was dazzling like a gemstone, we started our day by sipping a cup of hot black tea and some crispy toast. By 10 am we started our shopping. The districts are well-renowned for handicraft products, spices and homemade sweets and so on. All this would not have happened if Gogeo holidays had not appointed a well-efficient tour guide.
