Enthralling journey to Vattavada from Bangalore with my Gals

Knowing that tomorrow is Sunday I did not set alarm and woke up at 8 am. I am such a person who loves to sleep a lot. But due to my office schedules and professional constraints, I am forced to wake up early. As Sunday is always known to be a fun day for everyone across the world, I had already decided to make this Sunday into a fabulous day. As per plans I and my friends decided to do a little bit shopping and followed it we also planned to watch our favourite hero’s movie and then to have a scrumptious meal. According to our timetable, I got ready and started to drive in my new celerio car to one of the well-reputed shopping malls in the city. Over there 2 of my friends called Rochelle, Disha was waiting for me as soon as I reached there Richelle also arrived there. As everybody knows girls are always fond of costumes and cosmetic items we first entered the shop that sells only branded items. After doing the shopping we ran to the multiplex. The movie was about to start when we entered the theatre. It was one of the blockbuster movies of the year called Chennai Express. We were really happy to be part of such a wonderfully entertaining movie. We enjoyed each and every second. Not only the actors and story but the location where it was cast was really fabulous. I was truly lured by the backdrops seen in every song.

While savouring the mouth-watering delicacies I was busy surfing on the internet to track the location where the movie especially the songs were cast. After browsing nearly for 10-15 minutes finally, I got a destination. It was none other than the captivating hill station called Munnar situated in the southern parts of Kerala. I showed some of the alluring pictures of Munnar as well as other nearby hill stations to my friends. After making glimpse of the photographs my Richelle asked ‘Guys, Why we can’t plan an exciting trip to Kerala?’ The question really struck us. Even though we 4 girls were fond of exploration; a journey to such a far place was really challenging for us. Although we really wanted to discover the natural bliss of Kerala; the long-distance hindered us to think more on it. But it was Disha and Richelle who forced me and Rochelle to change our minds and accept the adventurous task. They also added that to make the journey stress-free we can avail of tour packages from any of the reputed travel planners. The remedy reduces our fear and asked them to wait for a day until we receive a green signal from our parents. After pleading and requesting to our parents they agreed for the adventurous group trip. By the time Disha had contacted Gogeo Holidays that curates excellent travel packages for the group of travel enthusiasts.

In each and every part of the journey, we really felt it was really great idea of seeking the exciting services from Gogeo Holidays. Because they helped us not only in exploring the magnificent beauty of the tourist place but also ensured our privacy and safety. The moment we boarded the flight to Cochin International Airport the staff of the Gogeo treated us like a special guest and provided all sorts of modern amenities. As we reached Idukki district, (known as the haven of hill stations) by the noon soon after a savouring delicious meal we had a small nap and followed to it we started our exploration. Munnar was a little far away from our hotel and hence we decided to explore it beguiling beauty the next day. Our tour guide took us to Vattavada hill station. It is the only place in the entire district where one could find wide varieties of vegetables and fruits. The short tour from our hotel to Vattavada was truly alluring. The audacious beauty of tea leaves and serene beauty of nature lured our hearts, for a second we thought as if we were traversing in heaven. As we are residing in Bangalore it was really hard for us to enjoy the serenity of nature enriched with wide varieties of resources. As mentioned earlier Vattavada is known for the paradise of natural food products, the moment we entered the region our tour guide handed over a basket to each of us so that we could pluck as many fruits and vegetables as possible.

While plucking the beautiful and tasty fruits some of the butterflies of varied shapes and colours were roaming around us. All the butterflies were tweeting among themselves. For a second I thought they might be asking among themselves “who gave permission to these humans to trespass into our area?” The cool ambience and pleasant weather helped us to revitalize our tiring souls and refresh our minds. Situated at an elevation of 5000 m Vattavada provided us with an excellent panoramic view of the lush green surroundings. Standing on various parts of the tourist destination we clicked awesome images of us with the emerald environment as a backdrop. In the night we arranged a marvellous night camp by burning the logs of twigs and woods collected from various parts of the region. After spending an exciting day in Vattavada the very next day we proceeded to Munnar, one of the eye-catching tourist destinations in entire south India; situated 30 km east of Vattavada. Usually, the journey from Bangalore to Kerala used to be very expensive but as we purchased the tour packages from Gogeo Holidays the expenses remained within our budget. They always try to curate the packages at affordable prices and provide excellent hospitality services.
