The essential things that help the living being to sustain on the planet are pure air and water. Water always played a pivotal role in one’s life from ancient days onwards. People used water for various purposes such as irrigation, household activities, and so on. Ancestors who never kept their feet in any institutions knew the importance of conserving nature and resources. They never practised any activities that contaminated nature. They nurtured natural resources like their own kids and enjoyed its fruits during their lifetime. Generations passed, people started to run behind economic and technological developments. They forget to protect nature and started to cut down trees and began to construct skyscrapers, amusement parks, shopping malls and so on. Initial profit from the infrastructures made the humans blind and propelled them to continue their activities that harmed nature. It did not take many years to taste the aftereffects of deforestation. Slowly nature started to react adversely to living beings through natural calamities like flood, earthquake, and volcanic eruptions and so on. Such calamities enlightened the minds of humans and induced them to take necessary measures to protect nature.
